Top/bottom has only slight, light rubbing from shelf wear. Signed in ink by the previous owner on the title page (This is NOT the author's signature). Printed in the USA. Contains black and white illustrations. The boards themselves are red and black with white lettering, very attractive. The spine is tight and straight, the pages are clean, unmarked (other than the previous owner's signature), all pages are intact and looks good. A very nice book with foreword by Sir Herbert Read.
